Looking for new advice around your training program? Or wanting some different ideas to improve your strength, paddle fitness and race preparation? These training programs are based around my 10 years of training and racing experience as an athlete to help you achieve your paddling goals. While paddling is our primary focus, the training plans follow specific strength workouts and explore the benefits of cross training.
Catering for all levels of paddling. From the newbie to the seasoned pro. Join me in a one-on-one or small group session to maximise your paddling performance. I will introduce downwind skills, specific ocean paddle technique, balance drills, wave riding, race strategy and mental preparation. I always keep my sessions fun and challenging for every ability.
With 8 years of racing at the top level in the Nutrigrain Ironwoman Series and 10 years competing at international competitions for NZ, I offer coaching for clubs, small groups and individuals. During my sessions I like to introduce specific technique on the board, ski and around the entry and exits. I build in race strategy, mental preparation, nutrition for race day and specific training goals to get the most out of each athlete. I am a big believer of learning skills in the surf and maximising confidence in the ocean.
With 10 years competing at an Elite level in various water sports Danielle is passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle and encouraging others to follow their passions in the water. Danielle has completed a BSpEx and Masters in Secondary Teaching. Her passion and can do attitude to everything she has a go at, is why she is so successful.
Exercise is important to release stress and is essential for the brain and body to function productively.
While paddling is our primary focus, we also explore the benefits of prehab, recovery and cross training i.e. cycling, running, rowing.
We cater for all levels of paddling. From the newbie to the seasoned pro we can help you push your limits.
